Am I able to pack personal items in my vehicle?
Tn'T Auto Transport insures your vehicle against any transport related damage that may occur while your vehicle is in transit. Tn'T service providers are not licensed by the Department of Transportation to transport household goods. This DOT requirement precludes Tn'T from insuring personal effects left in your car. We recommend you remove all personal items from the car prior to shipping. This ensures our drivers' meet their Department of Transportation weight criteria and also ensures your vehicle doesn't attract any unwanted attention. We value not only the safety of your car, but also the safety of our drivers.Is my vehicle insured?
Yes! Tn'T Auto Transport is your primary insurer against any transport related damage, not secondary like other companies, from the time we take possession of your car, or boat until we deliver to you. You never have a deductible to pay if transport related damage occurs. Full coverage insurance with no deductible is just part of our service at no additional expense to you.In the unlikely event your car does sustain transport related damage, Tn'T Auto Transport settles claims in an average of 16 days. Tn'T is your single point of contact whether you are inquiring about a rate quote, inquiring about transit status, or in rare instances, need to file a damage claim. You will never receive a list of phone numbers to the carriers that transported your vehicle to settle the claim yourself; Tn'T investigates and settles all claims in house, unlike other transport companies.
If I cancel my order is there a fee?
There is never a cancellation fee at Tn'T. Although we do ask you to secure your order with a credit card we know your plans may change and feel you shouldn't be penalized for it.Why does it take so long to transport my car?

Do you own your own trucks?
Tn'T Auto Transport is the largest automobile freight forwarder in the United States. We believe that to offer the highest level of service, owning trucks would not benefit our clients. Our dispatchers base their decisions on meeting your needs. By using a large base of partner service providers, we are not tied to ensuring "our trucks" run profitable. We seek out the most qualified Carriers to transport vehicles. Every carrier and agent that is part of the Tn'T team has met our rigid qualifications and receives a monthly performance evaluation. Tn'T conducts monthly performance evaluations on our carriers and agents to ensure the service you receive is the service you desire!What kind of truck will my car be transported on?
Tn'T Auto Transport offers you both open and enclosed service options when transporting your vehicles. Our standard service transports vehicles on open car carriers. This open car carrier method is similar to how manufacturers transport new cars and trucks to local dealerships. For additional peace of mind, Tn'T Auto Transport offers enclosed car carrier service. This allows you the option to transport your car in a completely enclosed trailer. Enclosed service ensures your cars and trucks will be protected from the outside elements.What is door-to-door service?
Door-to-door service at Tn'T Auto Transport is just that, we pick up your car, truck, van, or boat from the location you request and deliver to the location of your choice. You won't be asked to meet an authorized carrier at a shopping mall. On the date you request, one of Tn'T's authorized agents will pick up your vehicle with a flat bed truck from your home or office and transport your car to their facility. Once your vehicle is at the agent's facility Tn'T Auto Transport will arrange for one of our over 500 authorized carriers to transport your vehicle to its destination. When your car, truck, van, or boat arrives at the destination agent you will be contacted to arrange a convenient delivery time. Upon confirming a suitable delivery window with you, the authorized agent will deliver your vehicle via flatbed truck to the destination address.What is terminal-to-terminal service?
Tn'T Auto Transport offers a terminal-to-terminal service to our customers. This service enables you to take your vehicle to one of the over 80 authorized agents in the Tn'T network. Most agents are located in major cities for your convenience. When your vehicle arrives at the authorized destination agent you will be notified your car is ready to be picked up.What happens after I place my order?
After your order is placed with Tn'T Auto Transport your Coordinator will send you the Order Confirmation and Automobile Transport Instructions and Information Sheet. Look these over to ensure your Coordinator has your transport information correct. Additionally, the instructions and information sheet will help you prepare your vehicle for transport and give you valuable information about the transport process.The day before your car is to be picked up by one of our authorized agents they will contact you to arrange the pick up window that is convenient for you. This pick up window is normally a 4 hour time span in which the agent will pick up your vehicle. Upon arriving at your home, our agent will inspect your car with you to note the present condition of your vehicle. You need to review the auto condition report to ensure you agree with the notations made. Both you and the agent will sign the auto condition report. You will receive a copy of the inspection report for your records.
During the transport of your car or truck your Coordinator will contact you with updates on the location of your vehicle and dates your vehicle is expected to arrive at a location. These updates can be done via phone, fax, or email, depending on your preference.
Once your car arrives at destination, the Tn'T agent will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery time to transport your vehicle via flatbed truck to your new home or office. When your vehicle is delivered, it is critical that you inspect your car for any transport related damage before you sign the auto condition report. You are responsible for being an active participant in a thorough and accurate delivery inspection. If you notice damage, you must write a description of the damage in the designated area on the delivery inspection. You and the agent will sign the inspection and a copy will be given to you for your records.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Tn'T Auto Transport accepts American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. You may also pay with a cashier's check or money order at the point of pick up. For your convenience Tn'T Auto Transport does except a cashier's check or money order upon receiving your vehicle when your order is secured with a credit card.How much notice do I need to give you before I need my car picked up?
To ensure the timely pick up of your car Tn'T Auto Transport requests you place your order at least three days prior to pick up. In some areas your vehicle can be picked up the same day or next day if necessary.Tn'T Auto Transport's On-Time Guarantee
The price you receive from Tn'T includes our ON-TIME GUARANTEE. This concept, pioneered by Tn'T, is to ensure that our clients will have access to transportation in the event their shipment is delayed beyond the quoted transit time. Tn'T's On-Time or rental car guarantee is not meant to replace the vehicle being transported but rather provide basic transportation in the rare event your vehicle is late.Tn'T Auto Transport strives to meet every quoted transit time. However, in case of circumstances which cause delays beyond our quoted transit time, these circumstances will be reported to you. Tn'T will pro-actively manage the entire car rental process to ensure your needs are cared for in the unlikely event your vehicle is delayed. Tn'T will make your reservation, and in most cases schedule an Enterprise representative to pick you up at your home or office. Enterprise will bill Tn'T directly, ensuring the daily rental fee is not an out of pocket expense you have to incur.
If you are already in a rental vehicle at the time of delay and wish to stay in that vehicle we will reimburse you up to $25.00 towards your rental car expense for each day your vehicle exceeds our quoted transit time. (You will need to submit a copy of your rental car receipt for this reimbursement). Tn'T will not be liable for any delay reimbursements if failure to meet our quoted transit time arises out of causes beyond our control and without the fault or negligence of Tn'T. Such causes may include, but are not restricted to, acts of God or of the public enemy, fires, floods, epidemics, quarantine restrictions, strikes, freight embargoes, and severe weather conditions, but in every case the failure to perform must be beyond the control and without the fault or negligence of Tn'T.
